Books Opening and Closing

Throughout the year, my books will periodically open and close. When my books are open, I am accepting new appointments. When they are closed, I am not accepting new appointments. I book in 3-4 month increments so my books will open 3-4 times a year. The status of my books will be updated in my instagram bio. When my books are open, the booking form will be active and accessible through the link provided below. If my books are closed, the form will be temporarily disabled and display a message indicating that it is currently unavailable.

Availability

- I'm in the studio Monday - Friday throughout the week.

- When booking larger Tattoos these will be scheduled to start in the morning of these days.

What to Expect

- Once Filling out a booking application form, expect an email or text to further discuss a date. Email and text responses can be slow due to being a one person team.

- I don't do in person consultations. All consulting will be done through email or text after your form submission, unless I request otherwise.

- Any questions you may have before submitting a form can be sent through Instagram messaging through the account @kayditattoos.

How to Book

- When my books are open, my booking form will be live.

- Once pressing on the link, the form will appear. Please fill out each section of the form with as much detail as possible. Remember to fill out the contact information so i can reach you about your application!

Drawing Process

- Due to many appointments I prioritize drawings chronologically. With this, designs are typically done the night before.

- If you are wanting any changes made to the design, we do this on the day of the appointment. Initially, giving as much detail as possible of what you're looking for when filling out the form, will minimize the amount of changes needed.

Pricing

- I work on an hourly basis.

     * My hourly rate is $165 an hour. *

- You're welcome to ask for a rough estimate for the appointment. This will be dependent on size, placement, and style of the tattoo. This may be affected by changes of size, placement, style, etc.

Deposits

- When booking, I require a $100 deposit that goes towards the total cost of your tattoo. I ask for this through etransfer.

- Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

- Your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.

      Loss of Deposit occurs when:

- No shows.

- Cancellation without rescheduling at the time of cancellation.

- Any type of cancellation the day of the appointment.

- Deposits are not able to be moved to someone else's appointment/ you can not give your appointment to another person.

Appointment Day

- Please show up on time.

- You will be asked for a form of ID. This goes for Parents and guardians as well.

- If underage, a parent or guardian must be present the day of the tattoo. I do not Tattoo anyone under the age of 16 under any circumstances.

- You're welcome to bring a friend. I ask you to inform me beforehand due to limited seating.

- Please bring what makes you feel comfortable! Feel free to bring headphones, snacks, etc.

- Wear something that the tattoo will be easily accessible in. Loose or open clothing often works best. If you are unsure of what to wear, feel free to ask!

- Make sure to get a good nights rest, stay hydrated and eat before the appointment.

*PLEASE NOTE*

- If you have any health concerns including medications, conditions that thin your blood,

 skin conditions, or anything that will increase your risk of infection or your ability to heal, please speak with your doctor first.

- If there is any concern I will often ask for a doctors note.

- Please try to mention these things prior to your appointment!

- If there is any concern for your health your appointment will be cancelled as your health matters to me!

General Questions

- Anything posted under my "flash" highlight on instagram is available to be tattooed.

- I work only in black and grey and will not be accepting colour pieces.

- I enjoy working in surrealism, nature themes, and spooky/weird styles.

- I accept cash or e-transfer.

- Your appointment is unable to be transferred to a friend, family member etc. Often your tattoo is booked for a specific time frame that fits your piece.
